The idea of Camillia, or at least a three wheeled vehicle to sell drinks from, was first conceived during a trip to Northern California in 2014. Camillia's journey started in Bangkok with a short stop in the at the TUK TUK Factory in the Netherlands before her final assembly at eTUK USA in Denver CO and then a car carrier delivered her to Buffalo NY. Camillia spent a few months at Buffalo Outfront Metal Works having her box fabricated to become the Tea Tuk she is today. After throwing around a few ideas of what to sell from Camillia, tea stuck. Hot tea, cold tea, tea lemonades, tea infusions and more. Like several of our teas, Camillia's carbon footprint is a green one. She is fully electric, has no emissions and can plug in anywhere. That means she can also operate indoors as well as out. She hits maximum speed around 20 MPH so travel outside of the Greater Buffalo Area can be a challenge.
"Tuk Tea Company operates out of an electric, 3-wheeled Bangkok styled taxi, call a Tuk Tuk. Whatever the temperature is outside, they’ve got something to warm you up, cool you down; or just to give you enough focus to dodge wayward soccer balls from flying at you during the kid’s practice." ~ WUTSUPBUFFALO.COM
